Home devices produce only 1/3 to 1/2
watt of
total
RF output (0.0024
to 0.0103 Effective Isotropic Radiated Power) resulting in
very little
Thermolysis.
Our
Epitron®
PR85 produces a massive 0.9691
EIRP
- giving it that extra punch
needed to permanently destroy unwanted hair follicles... conveniently,
quickly and easily.

When searching
for a Shortwave Probeless Epilator consider the following:
Plastic vs. Metal Instrument Cases
and Tweezer Shrouds
These systems produce massive amounts of
potentially dangerous radiation. Ordinary cell phones (which are
weak
shortwave 'intentional radiators') have been linked with
health issues ranging from brain tumors, infertility, chronic pain and headaches
to outright
cancer.
Shortwave epilators (Removatron, Epitron, Synergie,
Finally Free)
normally
produce radiation levels 100-1,000 times that of an ordinary cell phone.
If you are a professional
cosmetologist working on clients for 6-8 hours a day, you could have an unhealthy
level of exposure.
So what is the solution? RF
shielding with full metal instrument enclosures and tw eezer
shrouds. Metals reflect radio waves just as a mirror reflects light.
This reduces RF exposure by a full 99%. Of the major
manufacturers, only two (Epitron and Removatron) are using a fully encapsulated metal
box. Of those, only Epitron is also using a metal shrouded tweezer
applicator.
Could you be convinced to put your hand into a
microwave oven for 30 minutes a day, even on 10% power? Of course not; however, if you use a
non-insulated tweezer system for 6 hours a day that is approximately the same
level of radiation exposure your hand will be receiving!
The bottom line is quite simply: Epitron is the only choice when it comes to
operator safety and protection from harmful shortwave radiation emissions.
Silver Chloride Ionization for
Improved RF Channeling

Silver atoms inside this liquid penetrate the hair making a superior path for the
shortwave energy to travel into the tissue.
Putting it in purely
scientific terms: oscillating silver electrons on the surface of the hair absorb
a radio wave and then, because of their own accelerations, re-emit it in the
action called reflection. The wave is
then passed from silver atom to silver atom in the direction of least resistance
(downward into the follicle shaft). Epitron
is the only manufacturer which employs this advanced process.
Although human hair will act as a 'dielectric medium' for which shortwave energy
will follow, it is quite inefficient. The addition of silver chloride
into the treatment protocol increases the overall 'joules' (a standard
measurement of energy) in the follicle shaft by an incredible factor of 5.(1)

Elimination of
Computer Settings, Excessive Control Features, Foot Switches, Timers or Cumbersome
Tweezers
When a manufacturer comes to market with a 'new' system they obviously have to
show something 'better' than what currently exists to be competitive. With shortwave epilation
equipment their strategy is to add computer settings for different hair types,
control features for different areas of the body and complicated timers.
While we admire their efforts, we also know how pointless it is
to do these things.
Why?
Each and every hair contains its own internal 'timer' (which is different from
hair to hair, area to area, person to person and day to day). This 'timer'
is the natural chemical/physical process known as 'protein coagulation' (the
deterioration of the amino acid bonds from heat).
As shortwave energy destroys a follicle, the hair will begin to loosen from the
cuticle (and slide out from the skin quite effortlessly). The time it
takes to release can be as little as 1 second or as many as 15. This
process is very unpredictable, so much that having 'computer settings' for
intensity or predetermined treatment times is pointless.
Just stick with the 'treat until release' principal and save yourself the
headache of 'cutting edge computer technology'.
When it comes to simple, effective and uncomplicated operation, Epitron
is the hands down winner...again.
